In order to avoid any conflict of interest, the authorised person must:
1. Undertake in writing to protect the confidentiality of personal data by signing an undertaking to protect the confidentiality of personal data;
2. Supervise and monitor compliance with the provisions of the Law;
3. Advise on the declaration of private interests and prevention of conflicts of interest;
4. Ensure that all persons appointed to participate in public procurement procedures complete and submit declarations of private interests in accordance with the procedures and within the time limits laid down by the Law;
5. To monitor the submission of declarations of private interests by the persons referred to in point 2 of the description of the procedure for the reconciliation of public and private interests of the public body Plačiajuostis Internetas and to verify the declarations of private interests of these persons;
6. To acquaint, in writing, the persons who have taken up their duties to declare public and private interests with Annex 5 to the description of the procedure for the reconciliation of public and private interests of the public body 'Plačiajuostis internetaas';
7. Ensure that information on investigations carried out and decisions taken by the public body Plačiajuostis Internetas regarding compliance with the provisions of the Law is submitted to the Supreme Ethics Commission.

List of potential conflicts of interest and private interests of employees of the public body Plačiajuostis Internetas (non-exhaustive)
Employees of the public body "Plačiajujuostis internetaas" who have declared public and private interests must disqualify themselves when:
1. 1. the matter on which the staff member is dealing/participating concerns his/her (or his/her relatives'):
1.1. his/her own business;
1.2. membership, affiliation or position in a legal entity;
1.3. financial commitments;
1.4. gifts and gratuitous services received from (given to) others;
1.5. bias (dispute, competition, hostility, etc.) towards other persons or groups;
1.6. property rights.
2. A matter on which the staff member is required to decide/participate relates to the work of persons close to him/her or important to him/her in the same workplace or under his/her control (performance appraisal, other personnel management functions, travel, leave, etc.).
3. The issue that the staff member has to deal with/participate in relates to the workplace for which he/she is applying for a job.
4. The staff member intends to represent his/her employer in dealing with natural or legal persons from whom he/she or persons close to him/her derive income.
5. In the performance of his duties, the Employee intends to deal with companies in which he or persons close to him hold more than 10% of the capital or shares.
