Equipment hosting in towers

The public body Plačiajuostis Internetas provides the following tower hosting services:

hosting equipment in a tower (kit);
equipment hosting in a tower (large set);
equipment placement in the middle section of the tower;
space in the tower area near the container;
equipment hosting in a switch cabinet.

Technical parameters for equipment in the tower (set):

5.Use of fibre optic cables in the towerAccess to fibre optic cables installed in the tower: up to 24 fibres in a singlemode fibre optic cable connected in an optical distribution box or a hybrid electrical and optical distribution box at the top of the tower, at a height of about 50 m, and at the bottom of the tower, in cabinets or areas dedicated to operators' equipment; or the possibility of installing one's own cables in the tower, up to a maximum of 0.11 kg/m, up to a maximum of 11 mm in diameter. 
6.Use of electrical cabling in the towerAccess to power cables installed in the tower: one pair of 2x25 mm2 or one pair of 2x16 mm2 48V DC power cables in a power distribution box or a hybrid power and fibre optic distribution box at the top of the tower, at a height of about 50 m, and at the bottom of the tower, in cupboards or areas dedicated to the operator's equipment, or the possibility of installing one or more of your own power cables in the tower, up to a maximum of 1,2 kg/m, up to a maximum of 26 mm in diameter.
7.Requirements for hosting, securing equipment in towerThe installation of communication equipment in the tower shall be carried out in accordance with a radiotechnical design drawn up and approved in accordance with the requirements laid down by law. The equipment to be installed in the tower shall be mounted on brackets which are attached to the ring structures or to the tower structures
8.PurposeThe intended use and technical characteristics of the services must comply with the requirements laid down in these State aid schemes: 183/2009 – Lietuva, SA.34166, SA.36132, SA.46372, SA.49614 ir SA.63098.

*wind area calculated as the sum of the wind areas of all the equipment, which are calculated by multiplying the two largest dimensions of each piece of equipment (e.g. height and width of the equipment) or by preparing a separate design, where the wind area is calculated taking into account the exact area of the equipment, the mounting directions, etc.

4.Requirements for hosting, securing equipment in towerCabinets shall be installed on a purpose-built solid base. The cabinets shall be of metallic construction, suitable for outdoor use, and shall have a protection class not less than IP54, with protection against vandalism.
