Public consultations on maps of fiber optic infrastructure required for 5G communication

2022-01-24

To properly implement the project "Ultra – fast network infrastructure", digital maps of the existing fiber-optic infrastructure managed by private operators and the state and maps of infrastructure planned to install in the next 3 years, as well as the infrastructure required for 5G communication, are provided for public consultation.

To make sure that the digital maps of the existing and planned fiber optic and 5G infrastructure required for the next 3 years and its coverage prepared on the basis of the collected data and the performed analysis are accurate and correspond to the specific investment plans of private communication operators, we kindly ask the interested parties to review the submitted data and by 2022 February 23 and provide data clarification and/or information about the available or planned infrastructure required for fiber optic and/or 5G communication in the next 3 years by e-mail [email protected]. If necessary (for example, after receiving data from operators regarding planned new investments in fiber optic infrastructure, which are not reflected in the map and data), the maps and data will be revised.

  3. 5G network “white areas” information

Please note that on the basis of these maps, the most appropriate technical solutions will be prepared, and network elements will be modeled, ensuring the connection of the planned 5,000 objects* to the high-speed communication infrastructure, this way, achieving the development goals of ultra-fast infrastructure, ensuring a speed of at least 1 Gb/s, in those areas of the country where analog communication services would not be provided on a commercial basis.

*Entities that promote social and economic progress - private and public companies, as well as non-governmental and governmental organizations and municipal institutions - are considered objects that should be connected to the high-speed communication infrastructure.

Public consultations on investment project

2022-05-03

To properly implement the project "Ultra – fast network infrastructure" (ISRI), a prepared investment project document is submitted for public consultations. The project aims to ensure the connection of 5,000 objects promoting social and economic progress to gigabit communication infrastructure. This way ensuring the development goals of ultra-fast infrastructure, which ensures a speed of at least 1 Gb/s, in those areas of the country where analog communication services would not be provided on a commercial basis. To ensure the relevance and accuracy of the investment project document, we kindly ask interested parties to review the submitted documents by 2022 June 2 and to provide information that should be included in the investment project or clarified by e-mail [email protected]
