Connecting with future professionals at Career Day
On March 19, representatives of the public institution “Plačiajuostis internetas” participated in the Career Day event held at the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics of Vilnius College. The event brought together students and representatives of various institutions, companies, and organizations with a shared goal to establish professional connections, exchange experiences, and discuss career opportunities.
During the Career Day, the institution’s team had the opportunity to engage directly with students, present their activities, answer questions, and introduce internship and employment opportunities. Students gained deeper insight into the projects implemented by the institution, the specifics of the work, and its main areas of activity.
Discussions also covered the key competencies and skills expected from young professionals in the labor market, as well as opportunities for professional growth within the institution. Particular attention was given to internship opportunities, which allow students to gain valuable experience during their studies and better prepare for their future careers.
Participation in this event was an excellent opportunity not only to present the activities of the public institution “Plačiajuostis internetas,” but also to get to know motivated, curious, and promising students. We believe that such meetings strengthen the cooperation between academia and practice and contribute to the successful integration of young professionals into the labor market.
