This year, the public institution Plačiajuostis internetas marks its 20th anniversary — a time to take pride in our accomplishments and look to the future with optimism.
Over the past two decades, our institution has come a long way - from a growing organization implementing its first projects to becoming a reliable partner ensuring the development and maintenance of advanced high-speed broadband infrastructure in rural areas of Lithuania. Throughout this time, we have grown together with the people and communities of our country. Today, our infrastructure connects libraries, healthcare and educational institutions, municipalities, businesses, government bodies, communities, farms, and other essential facilities. What once seemed like a vision for the future twenty years ago is now an everyday reality that enables learning, creativity, work, and communication. Expanding infrastructure in commercially less attractive regions creates new opportunities and helps reduce the digital divide.
We are grateful to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania for its constructive cooperation and trust in our activities. We sincerely thank our employees - their professionalism and dedication are the true strength of our institution. We also thank our partners for contributing to our shared goals, and our clients for their trust, loyalty, and the opportunity to pursue the highest quality standards together.
